Continuing our journey through the Valley of the Roses where we’ll have a 15 minute stop in Et Kella M’Gouna.

Heading Boulmane, reaching Tinghir and 20km after, its fabulous canyons, the Gorges du Todra Canyons. Free time to walk around the “gorges”, enjoy the river and the fabulous views.

After midday you go to Tinejdad and Touroug Palm Plantations reaching Erfoud town for a visit of a local fossil craft workshop.

Rissani Sahara Town

Rissani is a famous Arab city in southeast Morocco.

The founder of the present Moroccan Alaouite Dynasty is buried here, the Moulay Ali Cherif.

There is a local mausoleum you can visit in the suburbs of the city.

Rissani is also famous for being part of the old caravan Sijilmassa route.

Rissani old market is worth a visit and walk where history brought ancient caravans all the way from Timbuktu Mali in the Sijilmassa trail.
